Gem Team (Business)
Effective Date: July 29, 2026 | Version: 1.0
DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY LTD, Republic of Bulgaria
This Cookie Notice explains how DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY LTD, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria (Company No. (UIC): 204897396, VAT Registration No: BG204897396, registered office at bul. "Vasil Levski" No. 38, floor 2, Sredets District, Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria) ("DMA", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://www.gemteam.eu (the "Website").
For questions about this Notice or about how we handle your data, contact us at support@gem.team. Further information on how we process personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the term "cookies" in this Notice to also cover similar browser storage technologies (such as localStorage). We do not use localStorage or other browser storage ourselves; only the third-party service described in Section 4 may use browser storage on its own domains, and only after your consent. Where this Notice speaks of loading third-party content, data (such as your IP address) may be transmitted to the third party even where no cookie is set.
The following first-party cookies are either strictly necessary for the operation of the Website or store a preference you have expressed yourself. They do not identify you across other websites, are not shared with third parties, and are not used for analytics or advertising. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, they do not require your consent.
Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry | Type |
locale | DMA (first-party) | Remembers the language version of the Website you have chosen, so that it opens in that language on your next visit. | 7 days | Functional / preference |
locale_requested | DMA (first-party) | Remembers the language initially requested when the page was opened, for the duration of your visit. | Session | Strictly necessary |
locale_force | DMA (first-party) | Supports redirection to a language version other than the preferred one during your visit. | Session | Strictly necessary |
locale_switched | DMA (first-party) | Remembers that you switched the language during your visit. | Session | Strictly necessary |
dma_map_consent | DMA (first-party) | Records your decision on loading the embedded Google map (see Section 4), so that we do not ask you again and can demonstrate your choice. Contains only your decision (yes/no), the date and the version of the consent text — no identifier of you or your device. | 6 months | Strictly necessary (consent record) |
The table below reflects the cookies used by the Website as of the Effective Date of this Notice. If the technical implementation changes without affecting the purpose, provider or retention period of a cookie, this Notice may be updated accordingly. Individual technical names within these groups may change as the Website evolves; their purposes and durations will remain as described, and the current list is always available on this page. We do not maintain a longer or different set of first-party cookies than described here.
The contact page of the Website contains an embedded Google Maps widget showing the location of our office. The map is blocked by default. Instead of the map, you will see a preview image hosted on our own servers, which transmits no data to anyone. The actual map is loaded only after you click the "Show map" button. That click constitutes your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive).
If you choose to load the map, your browser will connect to Google servers and the following will occur:
your IP address, browser and device information, language settings and the address of the page you are viewing are transmitted to Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) and may be transferred onward to Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA);
your IP address allows Google to derive your approximate location (city/region level). The embedded map does not request and cannot access your precise device geolocation;
Google may set cookies such as NID and SOCS, as well as other cookies and browser storage entries determined solely by Google, whose names and durations Google may change at any time; if you are signed in to a Google account, cookies linked to your account will also be transmitted;
Google acts as an independent controller and processes this data for its own purposes in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We have no control over, and no access to, that processing.
Transfers to the USA are made on the basis of the European Commission adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is currently certified, complemented by Standard Contractual Clauses. Should that certification lapse, the Standard Contractual Clauses remain the applicable safeguard.
Your consent is voluntary. The Website and our contact details, including our full address and a link that opens the location in Google Maps in a new tab, are available without loading the map. If you choose "Show always", we remember your decision for 6 months using the consent cookie described in Section 3.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Privacy settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal takes one click, removes the map immediately and restores the blocked state. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
The Website uses no analytics tools, no advertising or marketing trackers, no social media pixels and no other third-party embedded content apart from the Google map described in Section 4. If this changes, we will update this Notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Privacy settings. Use the "Privacy settings" link in the footer of every page to review and change your decision on the embedded map at any time.
Browser settings. You can delete cookies and block their placement in your browser settings. Blocking the first-party cookies listed in Section 3 may affect language selection and may cause us to ask for your map decision again. The Website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no tracking to switch off.
Two processing operations related to the Website do not involve cookies and are therefore described in our Privacy Policy rather than in this Notice: the initial suggestion of a Website language based on your IP address (no data is stored on your device for this), and short-term technical server logs kept for security purposes.
We may update this Notice, for example when the Website functionality changes. The current version, its number and effective date are always published on this page. Where a change concerns a technology that requires consent, we will ask for your consent anew.
